Cinnamon Brown Sugar Carrots

Cinnamon Carrots Ingredients :

    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
    1/2 ts Ginger
    Salt and Pepper
    1 large bag of carrots (1-2 pounds)
    3 tablespoons of butter
    non-stick spray
    slow cooker

Cinnamon Glazed Carrots

It’s pretty obvious I don’t have a pound of carrots in my slow cooker but that is because only 2 of us were eating them so I scaled back. In general though, people are cooking for a family meal so you can really up how much you cook.

Dump your carrots into a prepared (sprayed with non-stick spray) slow cooker and put 3 MELTED tablespoons of butter in slices on top. Mix so all your carrots are coated. Turn your slow cooker on high for 3-4 hours.

Your carrots will go from tender to burned pretty quickly, so make sure you go in and watch from the 3 hour mark on about every 15 minutes. Now I don’t mind a little overcooked carrot in my crock pot personally but letting you know. Mix your remaining glaze in a bowl- brown sugar, spices.

Pour sugar mixture over your carrots in the crock pot and stir, your brown sugar should melt almost immediately.
